I have an uncle in Michigan who suffered from addiction from prohibited drugs. I used to admire him a lot when I was a kid and I wanted to be like him in many ways, I even used to act like him and always wanted to become like him on my grown up years. Oh I almost forgot to mention that he was my most favorite among all my uncles.
One day, when I visited him and his family in Albion, Michigan and was surprised to find him at the Illinois Drug Rehab going under the hospital’s drug rehab program. I talked to him and I think he’s recovering fast and I heard that the hospital has the reputation of higher success rates towards their patients health. Plus the factor that It is a long-term inpatient treatment center including detox and withdrawal services, so his family and us were confident that my most favorite uncle was in good hands.
Before we parted, I greeted him goodbye and he responded calmly like nothing was wrong with him, like the way I used to know him during my childhood days. I just hope that he recovers soon on that drug rehab center. I wish to see him again like the way he used to.
